Assignments This is the 2nd assignment for the PROJECT. So, it is the continuation of the project you chose at your practicum site Ardent Management Consulting, Inc. NOTE: This is my PROJECT for this class. It is going to be done in stages, so we are going to build on it as we progress in the class. Ensure that the criteria you develop in each assignment are relevant to the problem and proposed informatics solution, apply pertinent knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), and are appropriate for the organization (Ardent Management Consulting, Inc). Assignment 2 – Practicum Task Data Gathering and Analysis – Practicum Task For this assignment, you will identify the specific data needed to support your professional project. You will use this information for the development of your project plan. To make informed decisions, stakeholders need information based on evidence. To provide this information, the right data must be collected and analyzed. In 500-750 words, determine what data need to be collected and analyzed to complete the project. Ensure all the criteria for the data are relevant to the proposed solution and appropriate for the Practicum site (Ardent Management Consulting, Inc.). Include the following based in your 500-750-word paper. Evaluate what baseline data and project-specific data are needed for the project to help outline the issue or gap and support the completion of the project. 1. Develop the steps you will take to gather the data. 2. Identify the subject matter experts needed to gather data. 3. Formulate a plan for how you will use interprofessional collaborative practice concepts and principles of team dynamics when conducting the data-gathering portion of your project. 4. Explain why the subject matter experts are crucial to the project success and the role they would serve. Why is mutual respect critical to project success? You are required to cite a minimum of four scholarly sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the past 5 years and appropriate for the assignment criteria and health care and health informatics content. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide (Refer to the sample/example given).
You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.
Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.
Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.
The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument.
